City Serve

City Serve is an opportunity to go out into the community and serve! Before teams head to the sites, there will be a gathering in the gym with breakfast and prayer to kick off the day.

Serving Sites:

Lowcountry Pregnancy Center: We will need 5-7 people to go to LPC's DAZZ center in West Ashley to help with cleaning and hanging shelves.

Hope to Home: This team will help organize furniture at the warehouse, pick up furniture from donors, and make deliveries for previously homeless families and individuals. 12 people are needed at this location.

Lifeline Children's Services: Help clean at the office and make care packages for local social workers. We need 5-8 people for this location.

Wrap Around Care - We need 25 people to help by serving our foster and adoptive families with various projects around their homes.

Windwood Farm - We need 15 people to help the facilities team with outdoor projects at this group home for at risk youth in Awendaw.

Beyond Our Walls - This team will help with projects around the facility for their after care program for underprivileged children. We need 10-15 people. You can serve here on March 16 or March 23.

Comunidade Batista de Charleston - Join us and serve with a "yard give" for the local Brazilian community and refugee community. This project will take place at Northwood Baptist Church. There are opportunities to serve in the morning or afternoon. We need 15-20 people to help with this.

DSS - Write thank you cards for caseworkers and other DSS staff.

High Touch - Write birthday cards and words of encouragement for inmates with our bible correspondence course.

Closet of Hope - Help with organization and small repairs at their donation collection sites for local foster families and youth. 

Formation Project - We need a group of women to host a craft night for trafficking survivors. Dinner starts at 5:30 and the craft night will end at 7:30pm. *This team will serve on Tuesday, March 26.*
